Unreal Engine Developer
Code Maestro is an AI-powered coding assistant designed to accelerate and improve game development workflows. We are expanding our Unreal Engine support and are looking for a highly experienced Unreal Engine Developer to help us integrate and adapt Code Maestro for UE projects.
This is a part-time, long-term collaboration with flexible workload and hour-based compensation.
What we’re looking for:
Mid+ to Senior level Unreal Engine Developer.
Strong, hands-on experience with Unreal Engine, including multiple engine versions.
Deep understanding of Unreal Engine architecture, tooling, and workflows.
Comfortable working across different UE versions and legacy projects.
Ability to work independently in a flexible, part-time setup.
Nice to have:
Basic knowledge of Python.
Prior experience using AI coding copilots or developer assistants (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
Experience working on internal tools, SDKs, or developer-facing products.
Familiarity with C++ tooling and build systems in Unreal Engine.
What the role is about:
Support and contribute to the integration of Code Maestro with Unreal Engine.
Work with multiple versions of the Unreal Engine, accounting for architectural and tooling differences.
Help adapt Code Maestro workflows to real-world Unreal Engine development scenarios.
Collaborate with the core product and engineering team on improving developer experience.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on Unreal Engine best practices and version-specific nuances.
Working conditions:
